CVS/pharmacy launches free ticket promotion For this year’s tournament
Woonsocket, Rhode Island (April 24, 2006) – PGA TOUR professionals and co-hosts of the CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic, Brad Faxon and Billy Andrade, held a news conference today at Button Hole Short Course and Teaching Center in Providence to announce details of the 2006 tournament.
Champions Tour professional, Hale Irwin, and PGA TOUR professionals, Tom Lehman, J.B. Holmes, Tim Clark, Bubba Watson, and José Maria Olazábal will be competing for the first time in the CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic, June 18 – 20 at Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington, Rhode Island. Joining Andrade and Faxon will be returning pros: Peter Jacobsen, Brett Quigley, Dana Quigley, Fred Funk, Chris DiMarco, Tim Herron, Lucas Glover, Davis Love III, Nick Price, Mike Weir, and 2 more players to be announced.
Beginning April 24th, tickets for the CVS/pharmacy Charity Classic will be available free through a special promotion at CVS/pharmacy stores in Rhode Island, as well as selected CVS/pharmacy locations in Massachusetts. Customers will receive a free ticket with a qualifying purchase of designated products.
